Familiar faces criterion

The law sets clear requirements regarding the number of familiar faces a child may have. At Vipkids, we organize our schedules so that on the days your child is present, at least one of these trusted staff members is always present.

• For the very little ones (0-1 year): Babies have an extra need for continuity. That is why, in the smallest groups, we work with a maximum of 2 or 3 familiar faces.
• For toddlers (1-4 years): As children get older, their world expands. Here, we work with a maximum of 3 or 4 familiar faces per child.

• Emotional safety: A child builds a bond with the employee. This provides calm and self-confidence.
• Better handover: The lines of communication between you as a parent and the permanent staff are short. They know exactly what happened that day.
• Custom development: Because the staff member knows your child well, we can better tailor activities to your child's needs and talents.
