We follow the daily schedule as much as possible. We only deviate from this in exceptional situations, such as good weather, a festive occasion, or an outing. Even then, we ensure that the basic structure and sense of safety are maintained.

For the youngest babies, there is no fixed daily schedule yet; they follow their own rhythm, aligned with their home schedule and individual needs. In close consultation with you, we carefully adapt to this. As soon as your child is ready, they gradually grow into the daycare center's daily routine. In this way, we combine structure with personal attention, so that every child can develop safely and comfortably at their own pace.

Getting used to Vipkids

Starting at childcare is a special and sometimes exciting step, both for you and your child. For many children, this is their first introduction to a new environment outside the familiar world of parents and family. Therefore, we pay close attention to a careful and loving settling-in period.

The transition from home to childcare is calm and gradual. During the first period, we align as much as possible with the rhythm and habits of home, such as nap times, mealtimes, and other familiar routines. In this way, we create recognition, safety, and trust for your child.

The settling-in period starts with an introductory meeting with your child's mentor. This meeting takes place on the first day at 10:15 AM, followed by the first settling-in day until 13:00 PM. During the meeting, we discuss the daily routine at home, any special circumstances, and your child's specific needs, so that we can carefully align with them.

The second settling-in day is from 9:00 AM to 13:00 PM, and the third and final settling-in day is from 9:00 AM to 16:00 PM. In this way, we build up the childcare time step by step, fully tailored to your child's pace. Every child is given the time and space to feel safe and secure, after which we gradually introduce them to the group's daily routine and activities.

During this period, children get to know the pedagogical professionals, the other children, and the structure of the day in a warm and safe environment. At the same time, we believe it is important that you also feel comfortable and secure. Open communication is central to our approach: we take the time to answer questions and, if necessary, adjust the settling-in schedule in consultation with you.

When parents have confidence in the childcare center and our pedagogical professionals, this reflects on the child. In this way, together we lay a solid foundation for a pleasant, safe, and trustworthy time in childcare.
