Growing through play in a safe environment

At Vipkids, we believe that children learn and grow most by discovering, experiencing, and above all, by playing. Play is the primary way for young children to understand the world, develop new skills, and build self-confidence. At the same time, we believe it is important for children to be exposed to culture and art, as this stimulates their creativity, curiosity, and imagination.

We are inspired by the Uk & Puk method, which we use as a guideline for our activities. This approach helps us to stimulate the development of language, social skills, motor skills, and creativity in a playful, goal-oriented manner, appropriate to the child's age.

In addition, we pay close attention to daily rituals and varied activities. Reading aloud takes place at least once a day, as this contributes to language development, concentration, and imagination.

The children participate in dance, toddler yoga, music, arts and crafts, movement games, sensory activities, cooking or baking together, outdoor play, and free play in a playful manner. Teamwork, role-playing, and exploring nature are also regularly on the program. Each child is addressed at their own pace and according to their own interests: participation is always voluntary, so that the individuality and needs of every child are respected.

Experience culture

At Vipkids, culture comes first. We collaborate with MEMO, a program that brings artists to our childcare center. They provide interactive performances featuring music, dance, and song, inviting children to watch, listen, move, and participate. In this way, various senses are engaged in a natural manner: sight, hearing, and touch come together in one total experience.

The performances are much more than entertainment. Children are encouraged to learn new words, try out new movements, and participate actively. At the same time, MEMO contributes to the children's concentration, language development, self-confidence, and social interaction. It creates a warm, positive atmosphere in which children, educational professionals, and artists have fun together and gain valuable experiences.

Exploring outside of childcare

In addition to group activities, we also regularly go on fun outings in the nearby area. For instance, we walk to the park, run a quick errand, or visit Artis to discover the animals. This gives children the chance to explore their world, gain new experiences, and learn about their surroundings through play. Naturally, we ask for parental permission for these outings during the introductory meeting so that you know where your child is going and feels safe.

By combining playful learning, cultural experiences, and discoveries outside of childcare, we at Vipkids create a rich, inspiring, and safe environment where children feel seen, discover their talents, and happily take new steps in their development.
