At this location, we have one vertical group for children aged 0 to 4. In this group, babies, toddlers, and preschoolers grow up together. We consciously choose this group structure because children in a group with different ages learn from each other naturally and can develop at their own pace.
In a vertical group, children are given the space to experience different roles. Younger children observe the older children and acquire new skills through play. As they get older, they discover how to be considerate of younger children, for example by helping, comforting, or playing together. As a result, children learn to be caring and treat each other respectfully from an early age.
At the same time, there is also room throughout the day for rest and age-appropriate moments. Due to the children's various sleep and rest periods, natural moments regularly arise when, for example, only the babies are present in the group, or conversely, only the toddlers and preschoolers. During these moments, pedagogical professionals can better align with the developmental stage, play, and needs of the children who are awake at that time.
A major advantage of a vertical group is the calm and continuity it offers children.
Children remain in the same familiar group and with the same pedagogical professionals throughout their entire childcare period. As a result, they only need to adjust once and can develop in a safe and recognizable environment.
The children are part of one fixed core group of a maximum of 16 children per day. They play in a familiar group room and regularly see the same friends. In addition, they are supervised by the same pedagogical professionals over an extended period. This ensures stability and gives children the opportunity to build a close bond with both the other children and the staff.
In this way, we create a warm, stable, and trustworthy environment in which children feel safe and can develop optimally.
At Vipkids Daycare, we are open on weekdays from 7:30 AM to 6:30 PM. Parents can drop off their child in the morning between 7:30 AM and 9:30 AM. Children can be picked up between 4:30 PM and 6:30 PM.
Our daycare center is open all year round, with the exception of a few official holidays.
The daily program starts at 9:30 AM. We appreciate it if children are brought before this time so that we can all start the day calmly together. During drop-off, there is ample time for a personal handover. Parents can read a book with their child, do a puzzle, or say goodbye quietly. This ensures a relaxed start to the day for every child.
If your child will be absent for a day, for example due to illness or another reason, we kindly ask you to inform us before 9:30 AM. You can do this by phone or via our parent app.
On the next day, Vipkids closes at 16:30 PM.

We have a reduced rate for children who attend childcare 5 days a week.
Our prices include diapers, (standard) baby food, and other standard foodstuffs, such as (bread) hot meals, fresh fruit, dairy, and healthy snacks that children need during a day at the daycare. They also include the activities organized at the daycare and outings.

Sometimes, childcare can be especially important due to social or medical circumstances. If your child qualifies for the SMI scheme, the municipality fully reimburses childcare costs for a maximum number of days per week, often two days. At Kinderdagverblijf Vipkids, it is possible to care for children with an SMI indication, ensuring they can participate in our childcare safely and with proper care, without you having to worry about the costs.

Of course, it can happen that your child misses a day of childcare, or that you need an extra day of care. We are happy to work with parents to find a solution and try to be flexible where possible.
If you cancel your child's attendance at least 48 hours in advance, we offer the option to make up the missed childcare day at a later time, provided the group's occupancy allows it. The missed day can be made up in the period from two weeks before to two weeks after the original childcare day. We are happy to work with you to find a suitable time for your child to join the group.
Additionally, it is possible to request an extra childcare day. A request can easily be submitted via email. Upon receipt, we will check if there is sufficient space in the group. If occupancy permits, we will let you know as soon as possible whether the extra day can be scheduled.
The regular hourly rate applies to an extra childcare day. Therefore, no higher rate will be charged.
For both exchange days and extra days, we always take into account the group size, the calm within the group, and stability for the children, so that we can continue to guarantee the quality of our childcare.
